Advisory Council members are appointed by the provincial Cabinet for terms of three years. They meet at least four times per year and are given a small perdiem remuneration for the few days per year they devote to ACSW meeting and business. The issues that are undertaken are the result of consultations with the public, women's groups and our members. We report to the Minister responsible for the status of women, currently Honourable Mary Schryer. Suggestions for appointment of members should be sent to the Minister responsible for the status of women, Box 6000, Fredericton, N.B. E3B 5H1. Bring your concerns to our attention.
